Have you run any trips yet?
No. We’re at the start. Right now we’re finding out who’s interested, and the first trip will be a small free one to work out the details.
What does it cost?
The first trip is free. We haven’t set prices for later trips.
When is the first trip?
There’s no date yet. Join the waitlist and tell us what time of year works for you. That’s part of how we’ll pick one.
Does joining the waitlist commit me to anything?
No. It means we’ll email you when there’s a date, and you can decide then.
Do I need to be in a 12-step program?
No. 12-step, SMART, Refuge, secular, or a path of your own are all welcome. The trips are for people who are already sober.
Is this a treatment program?
No. It isn’t treatment, therapy, or anything clinical. The idea is sober people going camping together.
Who’s behind this?
Two guys in Minnesota with an idea and permission to use a piece of land. True North Collective isn’t a registered nonprofit or company yet. We’re working on that.
